Kongsberg Digital: K-Sim Connect

To design and develop a training learning hub for instructors and students that connects to Kongsberg digital and physical training simulator systems.

The project included:

  • The K-Sim Connect responsive web portal, where students and instructors can organize, monitor, share and plan simulation training.

  • A cloud-native back-end where simulators are launched on demand.

Description

This was a collaboration with Kongsberg Digital on a project to revolutionise simulation training. It enhanced K-Sim Connect web portal, improving information hierarchy, visual elements, and the mobile version.

The project aimed to make simulation training accessible and intuitive for a wider audience, resulting in an impactful and user-friendly platform. The team designed the visual style of the portal, and played a key role in ensuring a seamless user experience across devices.

Impact

The project transformed the K-Sim Connect web portal into an intuitive hub where students and instructors could effortlessly organise, monitor, share, and plan their simulation training activities.
