A navigation app that showed users all the multi-modal transport options for their city, to improve urban transport networks and improve the daily lives of commuters.

Door2Door (formerly Allryder, Ally): Urban Transport App

Description

During the 9 months working as the UI/UX designer for the app team, the apps went through two major redesigns, as well as a rebrand of the company from allryder to ally. Above shows the adaptations to the main home page of the app over time. During that time I also worked on designing for Android and iOS watch apps integrated with the Ally multi-modal transport app, to help users navigate on the move with ease and efficiency. Following the release of smart watches, I worked with one of our android developers, Sasha, to release our first android watch app. It was a great exercise in refining and reducing the information for such a small screen and identifying specific usecases to make the app as useful as possible on a watch device. I enjoyed also creating custom graphics for the device background.
